HOW TO APPLY FOR SERVICES
STEP ONE: Complete a pre-application online through the Virtual Roma Website @https://virtualroma.mdhs.ms.gov
STEP TWO: Attend Orientation when called by a receptionist or your assigned case worker.
Note: Orientations are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month 2:00-4:00pm at:

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WRITING UTENSIL(S)
Persons attending orientation must be present no later than 2:15 or you will not be allowed to attend on that day.
All participants must stay for the entire orientation to receive an appointment.
STEP THREE: Follow-up with your Initial Assessment Appointment.
Note: Case Managers will call you with an appointment once you complete orientation. If you cannot keep your appointment contract your assigned case manager at (662)887-5659 or 887-5593 at least one day prior to your appointment date.
STEP FOUR: Bring all the required documents to complete your application.. Incomplete information will not be accepted unless approved by the Director.
Note: Refer to the Virtualroma Checklist provided to you during orientation. If you do not bring all required eligibility documents, you will be reviewed for rescheduling within the next 30 days. Type your paragraph here.
COMMUNITY SERVICE BLOCK GRANT
LOW INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Under the direction of the Division of Community Services, these programs provide comprehensive services to income-eligible clients. Services include employment, education, case management, consumer planning, and emergency assistance.
The LIHEAP program provides direct energy assistance awards. Emphasis is placed on the elderly and disabled for reducing their cost of energy.
